Acer Inc., no bodies fool when it comes to contending in the computer space, plans to go into the ebook book reader arena soon this year.

Acer director Jim Wong, head of the company's IT Goods section, outlined the tactics through an interview with Bloomberg at Acer's offices in Taipei.
