Silent Night (2018)
Portrait or picture? A picture captures a specific moment in time. It freezes that moment so the viewer can experience it as it was. A portrait tries to tell a larger story about the universal essence of the subject. 2018's Annual Ornament "Silent Night" is a portrait of the peace and beauty of a quintessentially New England winter night. Perhaps it is the wee hours of Christmas Eve and the countryside is asleep and awaiting Christmas morning. A winter's night during the holiday season looks different from every person's window but the feeling we get is the same.
The 2018 Annual Ornament portrays a quiet winter night through a window, snow-covered hills, a small town church, the Christmas star, and a sky of twinkling colored lights that could be stars or gently falling snow. Personalize this ornament with a name or date on the back. The back has the Danforth touchmark, along with "2018".
Measures 1.75" wide x 2 3/8" tall. Comes in a flannel and gift box.

Magic of Christmas (2016)
"I was, and am, the child that got swept up in the magic of Christmas. I distinctly remember the Christmas Eve when I heard hooves on my roof. I was also the one who got up in the dark, most likely in the middle of the night, to sit in front of the tree on Christmas morning, in awe of the magic; waiting calmly for my family to wake up until I could wait no longer! The Magic of Christmas is that it brings out the child in all of us. The generous, loving spirit that leaps into the Magic of the season like a team of reindeer on high." - Judi Danforth Our annual ornament comes tucked in a flannel pouch and gift box. Mistletoe and Holly (2010)
Combines two ancient traditions in to one contemporary creation. Mistletoe and holly both stay green through the winter and are natural symbols of life and rebirth at the darkest time of the year. The druids used mistletoe in their mid-winter celebrations, and in the European middle ages people decorated their doors with holly for good luck. Over the centuries mistletoe and holly have become part of the holiday tradition, and we thank you for adding this fine pewter ornament to your family's celebration.
